ISO 26262 Level II Training and Certification

Course Duration: 5 Days - 8 Hours/day

This five-day seminar reviews all 12 parts of the ISO 26262 standard, and then focuses on creation of a safety case. The seminar will give those attending the information necessary to understand the elements of a safety case, and create one that could be used as a template for any future projects in you organization. ISO 26262 is the Functional Safety standard that is applied to Safety Related Systems that include electric/electronic systems installed in vehicles. The course is primarily hands-on work, and has some presentations, and is conducted in English. Those attending will be guided through all work products, and their related ASIL tables, to apply them properly to their correct conforming completion. The successful development of a safety case by the end of Day 5 will result in a Functional Safety Engineer Level II Certification, provided the prerequisites below are also met. Certain key work products will be reviewed by independent subject matter experts.

This is a hands on workshop conducted on site to provide Functional Safety Engineers Level I the necessary competence for becoming Level II engineers.
