Corporate sustainability and responsibility, as it has been practiced for the past 20 years, is failing to solve our biggest global challenges, like climate change, growing inequality, collapsing eco-systems and endemic corruption. Therefore, either CSR must be allowed to die a quiet death, or it must be transformed. This course will explore what progress has been made by businesses around the world towards the goal of transformation, what evidence and arguments for the business case for CSR exist, and what environmental and supply chain practices are emerging as best practice. Course attendees will also gain access to a self-assessment diagnostic tool that will highlight areas of strength and weakness in their own business.
