AS5553 & AS6174 Training - Understanding Counterfeit Parts Prevention

Course Duration: 1 Day - 8 Hours/day

This course is specifically designed to give students familiar with AS9100 an understanding of the Aerospace standard for Counterfeit Electrical, Electronic, Electromechanical (EEE) Parts.

Attendees will understand how the AS5553 and AS6174 standards complements the AS9100-series requirements for counterfeit product prevention in sections 8.1, 8.4 and 8.7 of AS9100 and 8.1.4/8.1.4.1 of AS13100.

This class also illustrates the need for a counterfeit products prevention program and how this standard can be flowed down in contractual requirements.
